Tonight my husband will be at home.
Why mention this?
He's a consultant and hence often travelling and spending weekday's evenings in random hotels located ni the client's city.
Today he'll spent the evening with me, since tomorrow he'll be working from home. Maybe I'll cook something special?
When I’m reluctant to take a risk or face something uncomfortable, I ask myself these five questions which, in melodramatic form, I call the "Five Fateful Questions." They help me think clearly about a situation.
What am I waiting for?
What would I do if I weren’t scared?
What steps would make things easier?
What would I do if I had all the time and money in the world?
What is the worst, and the best, that could happen?
What did you do for fun, when you where 10 years old?
Actually (yes, I am this nerdy):
- I read my dad's encyclopedia in 24 volumes (one by one, not necessary in alphabetic order)
- I loved the old math book with the multiplication tables which I found in an old bedside table at my grandparaents'
- I spent hours reading (hidden under the linens with a flashlight)
I am PS, mathematician, wife, home cook, book-lover and a girl with a camera who's trying to find balance and happiness and who dares to figure out which professional route is the one to take. This little blog is meant to be a place where I focus on the happy moments, the ones I'd like to savor, in order not to forget that life is good.
I'm going to share quotes that speak to me, resolutions I make, pictures I took or food I'd cook.
Come in and make yourself comfortable, and feel free to drop a comment. I'm happy to hear what you're willing to share.
